The aim of the research is to determine the demonstrated differences in successful attacks that ended in shoots at goal, observed from the initial moment of the attack and depending on the part of the field in which they started, at the 16th and 17th World Championship. The sample is representative, so the research included the most successful national teams (first four positions) of the 16th and 17th Football World Championship. Each team played 7 games. This research once again confirmed that the spot from which the attack started was one of the crucial prerequisites for success of the attack. Pressing that was almost equally applied at both analyzed World Championships, during the evolution of the game of football, is getting a more cautious application.

It is well-known that family is the most important factor in the process of socialization of the young directed to preparation for successful integration into society. Among other factors of socialization, sports distinguishes to be the most powerful agent, and its educational influences are mostly positive and coordinated with basic value norms of the society. Long ago modem family noticed educational potentials of sport and therefore uses it as powerful means for promotion of its educational aims. Our research was performed on a sample of 413 young selected athletes of Serbia, participants of the sports camp "Karatas 2004*. with an intention to reveal more clearly the influence of parents on sports activity of children. Having in mind the results of the researches so far. we assumed that the influence of the family on formation of needs to become involved in sport, on nature and degree of involvement. orientation towards achievements in sport, is vital. The obtained results show that residential status of this population is favorable on the whole, and the majority of young athletes m Serbia, lives in city areas (85.7% in cities; 13.3% in villages), in complete families (95 0%) with parents with secondary and high educational qualification (54.5% fathers and 53.1% mothers). More detailed analysis reveals that the relations of the parents towards sport is more positive as their economic status is better and educational level higher. Around 96.6% of the interviewed athletes state that parents support their going in for sports, that they motivate and encourage them and together with economic they give them strong psychological support. The data show that among parents with better socio-economic status there are no cases that show hostility and indifference towards sports activities of their children. The percentage of indifferent and negatively oriented parents toward the sports activities of the children is almost irrelevant (5-1% mothers and 4.3% fathers).

The sample of 333 boys of pre-school age was classified according to the length of treatment, i.e. physical exercises in pre-school institution, into three groups. Testing of motor abilities was carried out at the enrollment in elementary school. The data elaboration gave results that point a significantly better motor abilities of the groups that have been exercising from the so called nursery and younger age to the school period compared to the group that exercised only in the older group before the enrollment in school. The group that has been practicing for the longest period, since nursery to the enrollment in school, does not have statistically better results from the group that was involved in the treatment at lower age, and practiced to the enrollment in school, which proves smaller effect of exercising in nursery. The reduced effects are probably the result of worse conditions related to premises, material resources and personnel in nurseries. A relatively great number of children joins the educational work, therefore in the exercising program of the pre-school institution, which proved to be a disadvantage in the research, so it is necessary to study the causes of this phenomenon, and put some effort to eliminate them.

The aim of the research was to determine an optimum track length for cross competition of the senior pupils of both genders of school age. The research of longitudinal character was carried out in one half-term with 560 pupils of the elementary schools "Stojan Novakovic" from Sabac. The sample included 4 sub samples (V-VIII class both genders). The model of pedagogic experiment was applied with parallel groups, experimental and control. The first group consisted of pupils of control group (each class separately) who worked according to the existing curriculum for elementary schools that included preparation for cross competitions. The second group consisted of pupils of experimental group who used experimental program of preparation for cross competition. The results of the research showed that experimental program was more efficient. The optimum track lengths were determined for cross competitions of senior schoolchildren: schoolchildren V class - 900/1.300 м; VI – 900/1.500 м; VII – 1.000/1.600 м; VIII – 1.100/1.800 м.

The main parameters that were measured are: height above sea level, height difference, track length and overall time necessary to pass on foot certain relation. One day excursion included hiking to the lodge in Stambulcic to the Novak's cave at the mount of Romanija. Orienteering competition was done at the section at Stambulcic, and ski track was located near the hotel where the Lodge of the Faculty of Physical Education is situated. All trails are in the mountain environment and can serve not only to climbers, scouts, athletes (for preparation periods), for recreation, but also to the students during the educational activities in nature.

It originates from the Museum collection, established at the State Institute for physical culture (DIF) 1948 by ass. Prof. Borivoje Bora Jovanovic. At the beginning of 1967. the Commission for history, archives and museum of physical culture of Serbia was founded and its most important task was the collection of materials for the Encyclopedia of Physical Culture. However, later, the Commission significantly assisted the gathering of historic material from the past of physical culture in Serbia. During the entire period the Museum of Physical Culture contributed greatly to the collection, systematization, preservation and presentation of historic material. Putting at disposal all funds of the Museum to numerous researchers and scientists was an immeasurable and priceless contribution of the Museum to the development of scientific thoughts in the field of physical culture. Because of all the stated results of the activities of the Museum of Physical culture and its significance for preservation of valuable exhibits from the past, their presentation and use in science, in future, we have to take greater care and attention.
